The alarming fact today is that the quality of teachers and professors teaching in India is absolutely declining.The reason that can be sited is that people come into teaching profession not because of the passion they have for it(which used to be the case last decade).They come into this profession because they are not able to find other jobs.Those who have lost out on software jobs and other company jobs come for teaching.The most important reason is the lucrative salaries offered in the other arena.People dont want to be a teacher because of the poor salary it offers.It is a true fact that the future of India is in the youngminds or basically the present students.If they are not offered quality education our whole country is put at stake.Its high time that quality teachers should be properly trained and paid properly .Only then will the current scenario change and automatically a student will begin to respect their teachers.Let teaching continue to be a noble profession and continue to groom the young minds.
